MEET OUR LEADERS
Pastor Larry C. Miles Sr. is the longtime senior pastor of Fresh Anointing Cathedral, a Church of God in Christ (COGIC) congregation in Richmond, Virginia. He leads the church’s spiritual services and ministries, often with his wife, Terraine L. Miles, as First Lady. Fresh Anointing Cathedral offers a blend of traditional and contemporary worship and community programs for all ages.
In addition to his pastoral duties, Pastor Miles has been involved in community engagement and clergy initiatives in the Richmond area, representing his church in interfaith and public forums addressing local concerns. He’s also recognized within the COGIC Commonwealth District, serving in leadership roles beyond his local congregation.
OUR STORY
Fresh Anointing Cathedral, formally known as Word for Living, was established on 28th Street in Richmond Va in 1995. Pastor Miles and Evangelist Terraine Miles heard the voice of then changed the church name to Fresh Anointing Cathedral.
In 2005, Pastor Miles sought the Lord for expansion and saw the vision of the present campus of 3001 2nd Ave Richmond Va. While the campus moves to a different location, the power, demonstration, and move of the Holy Ghost only got stronger and more present.
Under the leadership of Pastor Miles, the church has fed the community with spiritual and natural meals, while partnering with organizations like Red Cross, One Step Ministries, Omega Psi Phi, Overby Shepherd Elementary School just to name a few. Hosting annual Thanksgiving and Christmas giveaways, these programs align with our mission and vision.
